Ce printemps, j'ai voulu profiter d'un peu de temps libre pour terminer un projet avec des sons que j'avais enregistré lors d'un voyage en Chine. Je suis donc parti seul à mon chalet avec tout mon équipement, mais mon objectif a rapidement dévié car je me suis senti inspiré par les sons qui m'entourait là-bas; le crépitement du feu dans le poêle à bois, un concert d'oiseau au crépuscule et le ruissellement de la rivière. J'ai enregistré tous ces sons grâce à mon petit enregistreur portatif et j'ai commencé à les travailler, à isoler les éléments que je voulais mettre en valeur. Chacun des trois morceaux de cet album est composé uniquement à partir de son ambiance correspondante que j'ai laissé tel quel à la fin de l'album.

This spring, I wanted to take some free time to finish a project with sounds that I had recorded during a trip to China. So I left alone to my chalet with all my equipment, but my goal quickly deviated as I felt inspired by the sounds that surrounded me there; the crackle of the fire in the wood-burning stove, a bird concert at dusk and the sound of the river. I recorded all these sounds with my small portable recorder and I started to work on them, to isolate the elements that I wanted to highlight. Each of the three tracks on this album is composed only from its corresponding recording that I left as it is at the end of the album.
